Queenstown’s ‘remarkable’ new hotel and events venue

Opening early December, the flagship Holiday Inn will offer 182 rooms and four flexible meeting spaces.

Queenstown will welcome its newest hotel and events venue with the opening of Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park in early December.

Marking New Zealand’s first new-build Holiday Inn hotel in a decade, the hotel features 182 rooms and four flexible meeting rooms, all with natural light, high ceilings and mountain views.

Just an easy five-minute drive from Queenstown Airport, the Holiday Inn is conveniently situated within the new Remarkables Park Town Centre in Frankton and is also close to The Remarkables ski area.

“The combination of our modern meeting and event facilities, convenient location, mountain views and vibrant hospitality, Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park provides business and events travellers with affordable accommodation and exceptional value to meet and connect,” Holiday Inn Queenstown Remarkables Park general manager Mathew Simister said.

Ideal for small meetings for up to 30 people, the contemporary meeting spaces feature state-of-the-art AV facilities, video/teleconferencing and unlimited Wi-Fi. For larger events, the meeting rooms can easily transition into a ballroom with seating for up to 200 guests’ theatre style.

Meeting and pre-function spaces flow into the open lobby to offer an inviting and relaxed place for colleagues to gather and connect over a glass of wine by the fireplace.

The media lounge and boardroom provide an ideal space for breakout sessions, and business travellers can make use of the E-Bar – a handy tech area with plug-in power, Wi-Fi, and wireless printing, with a drink and snack on the side.

The hotel’s dedicated and professional on-site events team can ensure the smooth running of any event, from small business meetings to large group incentives and events, while the food and beverage options can cater to any requirement.
