Melbourne & Olympic Parks has unveiled a first look at its upcoming event venue, Centrepiece at Melbourne Park, with a new fly-through video.
Set to open in late 2021, the new-build event facility will feature 2,000 square metres of pillarless ballroom space, with views of the Melbourne city skyline.
Located in the heart of the sporting and entertainment precinct, the venue will be ideal for hosting cocktail events for up to 3,000 guests, seated dinner events for up to 1,400 guests or a boardroom event for as little as 10 guests.
Centrepiece at Melbourne Park will also feature 15 breakout rooms, including an auditorium that will seat 250 guests.
Centrepiece at Melbourne Park is the third and final stage of the precinct’s $972 million redevelopment, which also includes a 5000-seat show court arena, production kitchen and updates to existing venues such as Rod Laver Arena.
The venue is now taking bookings for events in February 2022 and beyond.
