Following months of restoration after two cyclones forced its closure this year, Hayman has re-opened today (1 August).

Due to the destruction of Tropical Cyclones Anthony and Yasi early this year, private island destination Hayman underwent extensive renovations including a new botanic garden and 33,000 new plants introduced by landscape designer, horticulturalist and personality, Jamie Durie.

The property had recently unveiled their new Beach Villas just prior to the cyclones which are perfectly suited for corporate incentive groups.

Hayman’s new Beach Villas are now available for bookings following the property’s re-opening today.

“We take this opportunity to thank everyone for the warm wishes, goodwill and kind comments, which have been much appreciated by the Hayman team,” said Hayman general manager Shane Green.

In addition to the rejuvenated landscape, the Hayman Activities hub boasts new floodlit tennis courts, extensive sports and training facilities and is the starting point for the re-laid Hayman walking trail.
