Tim Campbell to host MEA Awards Night

Planning is underway for the September event.

Meetings & Events Australia is forging ahead with plans for the 2020 MEA Awards, announcing Australian entertainer Tim Campbell as this year’s host.

The awards night will go ahead on 8 September at the Sofitel Melbourne On Collins in Melbourne, with virtual viewing options available for those who are unable to travel.

Sponsored by Saxtons, Campbell is best known for his leading role in Home and Away, as host of national prime time shows Celebrity Singing Bee, Wheel of Fortune and National Bingo Night and through his lead roles in the stage shows Wicked, Rent and Shout!.

He joins a stellar line-up of speakers and entertainers coming together for Evolve 2021, including the former head of innovation and creativity at Disney, Duncan Wardle, and Holly Ransom, founder and CEO of strategic advisory firm Emergent.

Reflecting on an extraordinarily challenging year, the MEA Awards will recognise the innovation and exceptional work done by organisations and individuals within the events sector throughout 2020.

Tickets to the awards are still available, book yours online.
