Exhibition and events industry leaders forum to revitalise outlook

As the exhibitions and events industry emerges from what has been a challenging year, renewed optimism and confidence will be the focus of the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia's 2010 Leaders Forum

As the exhibitions and events industry emerges from what has been a challenging year, renewed optimism and confidence will be the focus of the Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s (EEAA) 2010 Leaders Forum, 10 May 2010 to be held at Crown Metropol, Melbourne.

Now in its fifth year, the EEAA Leaders Forum brings together industry CEOs and senior decision makers to set high level agendas, discuss key industry issues and provide a rare opportunity for high level networking.

“The theme of this year’s Leaders Forum, ‘pressure makes diamonds’, arose from the notion that diamonds are formed in high-pressure conditions, a significant analogy when considering the revitalised optimism, recovery and confidence the industry is starting to have post GFC,” said the EEAA’s president, Matthew Pearce.

“It speaks to working with the inevitability of change, facing challenges head on and having the strength to handle the pressure of those challenges while waiting for the proverbial diamonds to form.”

With renowned keynote speakers Anthony Mitchell, managing director, Bendelta; Jackie Furey, director, Bedrooms to Boardrooms; and Ross Wright, strategic advisor, Bendelta all confirmed, this year’s EEAA Leaders Forum promises to invoke and inspire delegates to develop promising strategies for the year ahead.
