AACB rebrands annual conference as Destination Business Events

Taking place in Melbourne, the refreshed conference will be themed Customer Experience: Laneways to Success.

The Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) has rebranded its annual conference, with the 2019 iteration to be known as Destination Business Events.

Celebrating its 30th year, the conference will head to Melbourne this year with a new theme of “Customer Experience: Laneways to Success”.

AACB CEO Andrew Hiebl said the conference will see the industry come together to network, share ideas, discuss trends and issues and work collaboratively.

“Through the success of recent conferences, we look to further grow and enhance this event as one for all industry partners with an interest in attracting business events through bidding and business development activities,” he said.

The 2019 conference theme will explore customer needs and how to evolve products and services to drive longer lasting relationships, greater loyalty, improved customer experiences and ultimately greater business success.

The event will take place over two and a half days, with speakers, case studies, interactive workshops, robust discussions and immersive experiences on offer for delegates at Novotel Melbourne South Wharf.

Destination Business Events will take place on 18-20 September 2019, with registrations opening soon online.
