Macau is becoming more affordable than ever before for the conference market, thanks to Viva Macau which has launched airfares from just $269 each way, inclusive of taxes and surcharges.

“With continued great fares offered by Viva Macau Airlines, customers can plan ahead to visit Macau, Asia’s most exciting destination in 2009,” said Viva Macau Airlines CEO, Con Korfiatis.

Guests need to book between November 19 and 25 for travel between February 1 and June 30, 2009.

Premium Class, which offers a generous 50-inch seat pitch, complimentary hot meals and beverage, pillow and blanket, is also on sale from $1,029 one-way.

“2009 will see Macau open more exciting attractions with upcoming developments like City of Dreams — a new integrated complex including major global brand names like the Hard Rock Hotel, Crown Towers, Grand Hyatt and a permanent Dragone show from Las Vegas,” Korfiatis said.

“These new developments will add more charm on Macau’s existing offerings of being the newest destination for leisure, entertainment, shopping, history, cultural experience and international shows and events.”

As an additional incentive to Viva Macau passengers during the month of November, the airline has also partnered with world-famous Cirque du Soleil – which currently performs daily at the Venetian Macao Resort Hotel – in offering 10 per cent discount on its Macau-only show ZAiA.

Viva Macau Airlines currently flies four times a week from Sydney to Macau on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Daily flights are set to commence in mid-2009.
