The newly renovated Sunnymead Hotel in Aireys Inlet will bring colour and fun to meetings and events. The property has been designed for fun, but has also carefully considers the environment.
Their “always sunny” suites cater for the needs of the modern traveller with a Smart TV, retro-look Bluetooth speaker and Wi-Fi. The property has eliminated single-use plastics, opting for reusable and refillable items, including the bathroom products from The Herbalist Bells Beach found in their suites, and handmade ceramics that support local artists Melinda Solly and Angela Nicholson. Even breakfasts are delivered in reusable bamboo totes, with their signature sunny branding.
Full of retro style, Sunnymead Hotel’s boutique size is ideal for corporate groups seeking exclusive use of the property. Full takeover includes access to the hotel’s 20 guest suites, outdoor magnesium pool, fire pit, onsite restaurant, day spa and bathhouse.
“Sunnies” pool bar is the perfect place to relax with a drink in hand. Sunnymead has opted for funky pool-safe drinkware as an alternative to single-use plastic cups. Private function and corporate groups can make use of the outdoor entertaining areas including pool bar and fire pit, complete with its own pizza oven.
The onsite Santara Restaurant offers a modern fusion menu designed for sharing and creative cocktails featuring Aireys Inlet’s own Great Ocean Road Gin. Their curated drinks menu showcases a selection of local and natural wines. Santara’s Executive Chef, Adam Cooke, also leads the team at The Coast Restaurant in Anglesea which is renowned for local produce dining and popular with conference groups at Great Ocean Road Resort.
