Never have the two been more inextricably linked than at the up-coming Delicious Legends Produce Dinner on Thursday, 20 May, which will showcase the produce painstakingly grown and raised by the legends of Australia’s farming, fishing, and hand-made food communities.

The exclusive multi-course menu will showcase exquisite produce such as Provenir Beef, Pyengana Cheddar, Collinson’s Reef Fish, Bruce Collis’ fish, Malfroy’s Gold Honey and Holy Goat La Luna hand-made cheese. The exclusive one-night only dinner will be hosted in what is arguably Australia’s most beautiful dining room, located in the 1936 Emil Sodersteen-designed, art deco inspired City Mutual Building, the splendour of which brings to life a quintessential Rockpool dining experience.

Australia’s best beef is sourced directly from producers and dry-aged on-premises, where in-house butchers carefully break down whole carcasses in readiness of their chefs’ nose-to-tail cooking philosophy.

Seafood is sourced directly from the fishermen and women who catch it and oftentimes call from their vessels, while still at sea, to inform the chefs of their outstanding catch. The restaurants typically receive it within 24-hours, dry-fillet on site, giving customers access to super-fresh, expertly handled sustainable specimens.
