Japan Airlines (JAL) has completed the introduction of its new Executive Class seats on flights between Tokyo and Sydney, meaning incentive and business travellers have a stylish new way of travelling to Japan and beyond.
The new Executive Class seat on Japan Airlines
The award-winning Executive Class seat – the JAL shell flat seat — has been designed in a shell shape that enhances relaxation and privacy. The seat has a 170 degree recline, a width of 23.5 inches, a length of 75 inches and a maximum pitch of 62 inches
Each seat is equipped with one of the largest video monitors in business class at 10.4 inches, while also featuring AC power for laptops, an in-seat massage function, an adjustable reading light and an in-seat telephone.
JAL’s Magic in-flight entertainment system offers the latest movies and videos, games and a wide range of audio channels – all of which are available on demand on the 10.4 inch screen.
When it comes to sleep, that’s another key highlight of the new Executive Class seat. Personal bedding consists of down pillows and extra large blankets, while personal amenities include eye refreshers and moisture masks.
Completing the Executive Class service is a selection of western and Asian food, along with a fine selection of award-winning wines and sake.
