To give event organisers and associations a helping hand during these challenging times, Destination Gold Coast Business Events has launched dedicated financial support to bring business events back to the region.
For a limited time, the destination is offering a range of cash incentives to support meetings of all shapes and sizes.
Under the initiative, new events booked for more than 100 delegates can receive $25,000, events with more than 200 delegates can receive $50,000 and events with 500 or more delegates can receive $100,000.
Financial support is available for new business events booked by 31 December 2020 with a minimum two-night stay, held before 31 December 2022. See terms and conditions for eligibility here
Destination Gold Coast’s local business events team will be on hand to offer local knowledge to help with venue proposals, itinerary planning, site inspections and delegate boosting.
