A Sydney based event hire company requires the services of an event decorator/stylist.
Duties:
- Design and develop a product range of soft furnishings and specialise furniture.
- Work closely with the sales team on major projects and head the décor element of the event.
- Prepare presentation and concepts to the client
- Assist in presentation of décor aspect to client.
- Present to sales team on latest market trends and market activity
- Coordinate samples and communicate product specifications to sales team and client
- Communicate with local and overseas supplies in developing the product range.
- Some interstate/overseas travel may be necessary
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have 5 years’ experience in product development and design.
- Candidate must be capable of managing multiple projects at once with tight deadlines
- Must be self-motivated and be able to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Proficient in MS programs (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
- Proficient in a creative software programs (Photoshop, InDesign etc.)
- Strong communication skills (at all levels)
