Thailand’s nationwide night-time curfew has been lifted across all provinces, including Bangkok.
The National Council for Peace and Order announced on Friday that the curfew would be discontinued as there had been ‘no incidents that would lead to violence’.
The curfew started on 22 May when the Thai military declared ‘martial law’, initially enforcing the lock-down between 10pm and 4am.
It is expected that a new constitution will be drafted by August and a new government will be in power by September.
