Recent newcomer to the events industry, Triumph Leisure Solutions (tls), won the role of producing Australia’s biggest corporate incentive event for the recent Amway China 2011 Convention held in Sydney.
Amway China’s mega-incentive saw 4 gala dinenrs produced for the conference in Sydney
Selected to produce four gala dinners for the conference. With a production budget of over $3 million, one of the largest the industry has seen since 2005, 300 performers and over 100 production crew, tls transformed the Dome at Sydney Olympic Park into an undersea wonderland.
As an Australian industry first, tls projected seamless high definition vision onto a screen that was 130 metres wide and nine meters high.
The resolution of this footage was over 15,000 pixels – which is eight times the resolution of a box office movie. This innovation enabled tls to allow the audience to watch an array of sea creatures seamlessly glide across from one end of the nine meter screen to the other.
The screen effectively wrapped around the audience and the clarity of the footage made them feel as though they were actually under the sea.
“The integration of large-scale seamless projection, special effects and live performance transports the audience, taking them on an amazing and vivid journey beneath the sea.
“Our high definition projected vision sets the record for scale and clarity within the Australian corporate events industry and allowed us to showcase Australian themes including an amazing reef scene and the evening skyline of Sydney harbour to our international visitors in spectacular fashion,” said Blake Harris, show producer and managing director of tls.
