Rockstar Management has delivered three large scale events for client Sony Computer Entertainment (Playstation), which kicked off in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley at the Lightspace on September 27, then Melbourne’s Exhibition Centre on October 5 and finally wrapped up in Sydney at Carraigeworks on October 18.
Rockstar Management pulled off three logistically challenging events across three cities for Sony Playstation.
Guests got a sneak peak into the gaming world with a showcase of 11 software titles including a preview of the priority titles for next year.
Sony Entertainment used the events as a platform to showcase 11 software titles
The scene set complete with 300 metres of red carpet giving the effect of walking into the computer universe and custom-built walls for the priority titles and hand painted walls to corrugate iron inlays to give the effect of desert wreckage as featured in one of the gaming titles.
The red entertainment stage served as a interactive plateform for gamers to challenge each other
A red entertainment stage was provided an interactive experience where guests were invited to become part of the entertainment throughout the night challenging one another on the new games to play.
Producer and DJ Grant Smillie
Rockstar also enlisted an ARIA award winning producer and DJ Grant Smillie and pop artist Zoe Badwi to perform at each event.
Three events across three cities proved to be a logistically challenging event for Rockstar Management given that a total of 48 metres of customised fake wall was built on French brackets, that had to be created then packed down and shipped by a 12 tonne truck to each location, along with the 6×8 metre modular built red stage.
The final event was held in Sydney’s Carraigeworks
“Rockstar has delivered three stellar events. We could not be happier with the results. A polished finish showing exceptional attention to detail,” said Steve Wherrett, director of Ppromotions, sponsorship and new business for Sony Computer Entertainment.
