Some of Sydney’s biggest players have taken out Restaurant and Catering awards for 2013.

 


Venue managers: Greg McPhee, Art Gallery of NSW;
Sarah Leonardo, The Mint and Justice & Police Museum;
Kate Still, Centennial Parklands Dining

 

Sydney-based restaurant and catering company Trippas White Group Group received five awards on Monday night at the 2013 Restaurant & Catering Awards for Excellence for Sydney and Surrounds. They took out best Function and Convention Centre Caterer with Centennial Parklands Dining, Event Caterer with The Mint, Tourism Restaurant with Sydney Tower Buffet, Family Restaurant with Sydney Tower Buffet and Industrial and Institutional Caterer with their work at The Scots College.

Fresh Catering was named Best Venue Caterer of the Year for Museum of Contemporary Art, Best Caterer at a Major Event with Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour and Best Caterer of the Year in the overall Savour Australia™ Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence category.

Ananas Bar & Brasserie at The Rocks took out Best New Restaurant, Tetsuya’s took out Best Fine Dining Restaurant and Sydney Restaurant of the Year and the Ripples and Aqua groups both scored in a couple of categories.
