Tourism NT is pleased to announce the appointment of well-known and highly experienced Business Tourism sector professional, Scott Lovett, to the position of Director Business Tourism with the Northern Territory Convention Bureau (NTCB).

Lovett will be making a move from Perth to Darwin, where the NTCB director role is now based, and will commence on 12 July.

Stepping into this position provides him with a welcome return to the Northern Territory, as he was previously manager of the Alice Springs Convention Centre (ASCC) from 2005-2007.

In late 2007, he joined Staging Connections as general manager for South Australia/NT before becoming GM of Staging Connections Western Australia in 2009. He also held several hospitality management roles with hotels in Melbourne and Adelaide.

“Scott’s broad background in the business tourism sector, his extensive network of local, national and international contacts and his strategic perspective will prove invaluable to the Territory industry,” said executive director strategic services & business tourism for Tourism NT, Angela Collard.
