Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley has appointed Michael Foster to the position of meetings director, responsible for the hotel’s dedicated meetings team and meetings facilities.

Michael joins Crowne Plaza following a year with InterContinental Hotels Group’s Darwin Cluster as a management trainee. It was here that he received a solid grounding in all aspects of the hotel industry with a strong focus corporate meetings.
 
A hotel and tourism management graduate from the University of Queensland, Michael has also held positions at the Sheraton Brisbane, Sofitel Brisbane and the boutique Point Hotel Brisbane in banqueting and food and beverage.
