Queensland based fireworks company, FIREWORX have announced that they have received an invitation to compete in the L’International
des Feux Loto-Québec (Montreal Fireworks Competition).
Fireworx are the fifth Australian company to have participated in this contest since its inception in 1985, and the first ever Queensland company.
The competition will feature 8 countries including England, Hong Kong, Spain, USA, Croatia, Canada and Italy. Founded in 1985 the L’International des Feux Loto-Québec has experienced astounding success attracting 5.7 million people to their first season. FIREWORX is delighted to be a part of an event that is now considered the “Olympics” of the pyrotechnical world.
FIREWORX are first off the rank with their pyro-musical creation launching on Saturday, 22nd June at 10pm.
FIREWORX will be paying tribute to the great movie music composers with their theme ‘Magic of the Movies’. FIREWORX will turn the tables – mixing the composers musical creations with their pyrotechnic creations – and let the fireworks bring out the emotion of the music in a spectacular pyro-musical masterpiece.
“We are honoured to receive an invitation to the prestigious L’International des Feux Loto-Québec. It again, shows that a Queensland Fireworks Company can compete amongst the world’s best and create an impact in the pyrotechnics Industry” said Ian Riedel, managing director of FIREWORX. “We are proud to be representing Australia and Queensland, and with the creative and professional contribution of our team, we
are sure to be strong contenders.”
