Event technology company eTechSuite took home the Digital Innovation Award at the 2022 Exhibition and Event Association Australasia (EEAA) Awards for Excellence, held last night at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney).

EEAA’s Awards for Excellence celebrate outstanding achievements and best practice within the exhibition and event industry, with eTechSuite recognised for its out-of-the-box solutions provided to clients in the past twelve months using eOrganiser – one of its leading event technology products.

eTechSuite general manager Marcel van Egdom said it was an honour for the team to be recognised for their expertise and creativity.

“This award recognises our innovative technology and its flexibility in achieving a wide range of client objectives,” Egdom said.

“We thrive on an opportunity to collaborate with event managers to provide solutions to save them time and money.”

In addition to its original purpose of offering event managers a secure online portal to manage abstracts, papers and event programs, eOrganiser has been repurposed to meet other client requirements.

“As part of eTechSuite’ s continuous efforts to support event organisers, the team has adapted eOrganiser to function as a state-of-the-art Awards Submission Application Portal for several events,” Egdom said.

“With the Rotary Clubs of NSW event managers, eTechSuite created a secure and structured online digital platform to assist with the award submission process for the prestigious Police Officer of the Year Awards. By using eOrganiser, applicants were supported throughout a streamlined submission process and event managers benefited from automated and intuitive technology that delivered significant time savings.

“eTechSuite has had a big year having collected and facilitated the review of 17,462 abstracts, full papers, digital posters, awards and presentation submissions in eOrganiser across all its 2022 events worldwide.”
