Imagine driving an amazing coastal drive in the world’s best motor vehicles. That’s exactly what a group of New Zealand incentive recipients did when they drove the world famous Great Ocean Road over two days in May.
World leading sports cars were provided that included Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, AUDI R8, Porsche, Lotus, BMW – with a total of nine cars available to the 18 guests.
9 luxury cars were on offer for 18 guests to test drive along some of the most beautiful ocean landscape.
Starting in Melbourne and spending one night at Mantra Lorne guests had the privilege to drive the cars across roads that featured tight windy sections, mountain passes, long straights and big bends. Stops along the way included Bells Beach, coastal hamlets, waterfalls, koalas in the wild, ancient rainforest and much more.
Each guest got to drive every car in a well-structured event that maximized drive and enjoyment time.
Big Stick Adventures owner, Brett Hollis said “Whether you are a motor enthusiast or not driving a Ferrari along the Great Ocean Road is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that impresses everyone. Conde Nast Traveller voted this the best coastal drive on the planet, so when you add stops at stunning locations, visits to wineries, food producers and more it provides a world class incentive that’s hard to match.”
During the program guests were introduced to each car on an individual basis. Everyone is shown how to drive each covering everything from F1 Paddles to stick shift; indicators to mirrors to accelerators and brakes.
Big Stick provided driver guides in rear and tailing cars plus a detailed drive book covering information on all the cars and the drive route.
Lunches were served on each day at Truffleduck’s Balmoral Reception and Peter Rowland’s The Hill Winery. At The Hill a Ferrari and Lamborghini were parked inside the wine processing plant and a long table lunch served next to the cars.
With the sun shining and roofs off the cars all guests had to do was put the foot down.
