Belinda Franks Catering has announced plans for the brand to become part of the Toast Food Group commencing July 1, 2011.
The successful and friendly acquisition by ‘Toast Food’ will see founder, Belinda Franks step down as director, although remain in the key role of Creative Consultant, in a deal designed to effectively expand Toast Food’s offerings by adding this premium catering outfit to its existing portfolio.
Toast Food Group, like Belinda Franks Catering , enjoys a successful positioning as a solid operator spanning over three decades. The group’s current portfolio includes the restaurant/café operations at Museum of Sydney and Foxtel headquarters at North Ryde, as well as a separate catering division which services both the corporate and domestic markets across greater Sydney.

The new merge will see all key employees of Belinda Franks Catering retained, ensuring a seamless transition, particularly for the company’s valued clients.
Sarah Barker as general manager will lead the existing team, with Richard Purdue continuing in the role of executive chef. Operations management will remain in the hands of Frank O’Reilly, with Lynleigh McPherson as wedding specialist. “It’s a classic win win for both parties and I’m excited about
