VictorsFood has been given the thumbs up for its work with the recent Amway Taiwan group.
The teambuilding company held two interactive cooking events at Royal Randwick Racecourse.
The highlight was the use of fresh ingredients giving the clients a sense of the best of Australia, food-wise. From seared Kangaroo with lemon myrtle to big bowls of flambé prawns, the clients cheered and sizzled their way into ‘food happiness’.
The challenge for all was translating the recipes from English to Mandarin. Translators were posted at each cooking station just in case there were need to assist.
With lots of smiles and demonstration, language did not prove to be a problem.
With the city skyline from Royal Randwick in the background and Amway branding channelled through the media screens, it was a highlight for the eager chefs to create, bond and enjoy the best of Australian food.
Victor Pisapia, director of VictorsFood, said, “This is just the first of many Asian incentives that we will be doing in the future as now that we have mastered these big events we now know how to deal with the Asian market in the various cultural differences.
“We have delivered many large interactive cooking experiences and now the Amway Taiwan groups are just the icing on the cake for doing bigger and better events – now I just need to learn more Mandarin,” he said.
