Cheeky Food Group recently held the biggest Corporate Cook Up in Australia, if not the world when 550 colleagues whipped up flambeed prawns, Asian duck salads and mexican quesadillas at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
550 corporate colleagues teamed up at the MCEC for Australia’s biggest cook-up with Cheeky Food Group on August 20, 2010.
“The energy in the room was amazing”, say Leona Watson, managing director of Cheeky Food Group. “The client really got into it and the MCEC were fabulous in helping us turn their ball room into a massive cooking space. It was quite an event!”
This was part of a national roadshow with other events held including 350 at the Australian Jockey Club (AJC), Sydney, 90 people at the Perth Convention Centre and last year 150 in both Brisbane (Mercure) and Canberra at the National Convention Centre. Cheeky’s Conference Cook-Up was used to wrap up the workshop as a fun and interactive way to send everyone off feeling refreshed, positive and ready to work more as a team.
