The annual Australian Event Awards & Symposium has unveiled this year’s nominees, proving that despite the challenges of the past few years, the events industry continues to rebuild, innovate and thrive.
The impressive list of shortlisted nominees for 2022 contending for the National Winner title include: Adelaide Fringe Festival 2022; Formula 1 Heineken Australian Grand Prix 2022; Parrtjima – A Festival in Light 2022, Northern Territory Major Events Company; Vivid Sydney 2022, Destination NSW, and many more.
The State and Territory Nominees are selected from the Best Event categories and recognise the top two scoring events in each state in each of these categories. These include: Asia Pacific Incentives & Meetings Event (AIME) 2022, Talk2 Media & Events (VIC); Bluesfest 2022 (NSW); Enchanted Garden 2021, LASERVISION and City Parklands Services (QLD).
Following a month-long online Event Awards celebration in October 2021, the event is expected to bring the industry together in person as it aims to return to a live ceremony format in mid-November this year, with further details to be announced.
