As part of their sponsorship of the Sydney Film Festival, Virgin Atlantic treated guests to a tea party with a twist on Tuesday night (12 June).
Bringing to life a unique feature found on board, the highest high tea at 35000ft, Virgin Atlantic gave guests an afternoon tea to remember.
Virgin Crew and guests were able to join the Queen of Hearts for tea at this Mad Hatter event.
Greeted by The Queen of Hearts and the Mad Hatter, guests were guided down the purple carpet by Virgin Atlantic crew toward a long dining table covered with giant tea cups full of colourful flowers, strewn tea cups, milk jugs and sauces, toy rabbits, glasses overflowing with lollies and high tea stands filled with yummy treats of macaroons, finger sandwiches, mini quiches, scones with jam and cream and mini cupcakes.
As guests sipped on a Champagne or a choice of Twinings tea that would please any die hard tea lover, British comedian Paul Warner made people laugh with his quirky comedy act.
At the conclusion of the event guests were treated to a preview screening of cutting edge British film ‘My Brother the Devil’ introduced by the director herself Sally El Hosaini.
Situated in The Lower Town Hall, the home of the Sydney Film Festival hub this year, Virgin Atlantic’s on board bar is a feature throughout the festival.
