Heston Blumenthal has accepted Lateral Marketing & Management’s invitation to visit Australia for a series of exclusive corporate events in Sydney, a public event at the State Theatre and a weekend event at Sanctuary Cove in Queensland.

Heston Blumenthal, the chef and owner of The Fat Duck, the Michelin three-star restaurant in the village of Bray in England will be in Australia in March 2011.

“I am thrilled at the opportunity to visit Australia again; it’s always such a treat. Not only is there a truly exciting restaurant scene but such a wealth of amazing produce. Australians just know how to enjoy life and have fun and it’s lovely to catch up with the many friends living there,” he said.

The Fat Duck has been voted Best Restaurant in the world and is currently considered the best restaurant in Britain by the UK prestigious Good Food Guide. Heston Blumenthal has been described as a culinary alchemist for his modern approach and innovative style of cooking.

The corporate events will look at Heston Blumenthal’s unique philosophy and approach to cooking, exploring taste and flavour, and his passion for the multi-sensory experience of eating and drinking.

The public show will be a live stage interview at the State Theatre with renowned food critic and MasterChef judge Matt Preston as they explore the personality, philosophies and the genius that is Heston Blumenthal.
