Swedish Cider, Rekorderlig, hosted an event last Wednesday (11 July) at the Belgian Beer Café in Melbourne to launch the limited edition Rekorderlig Winter Cider.
Rekorderlig Cider has opened a Pop Up Bar at Melbourne’s Belgian Beer Cafe to launch the limited edition Winter Cider.
Comprising of over 300 people including VIP bartenders and familiar trendsetters on the party circuit, the venue was set in a Winter Forest theme.
Guests indulged in delectable canapés which complimented the delicious Rekorderlig Winter Cider including; Swedish meatballs with beetroot and apple salad, mushroom pear barley risotto made with Rekorderlig Pear and Cider glazed chicken ribs on apple rice.
The Winter Forest theme allowed guest to warm up from the cold with both mulled and chilled ciders.
The Swedish Winter Cider was served in various ways and contrasting temperatures to keep guests refreshed and their bellies warm. Enjoyable over ice or heated with a slice of orange, the tastes of the innovative drink changed drinker’s perception that the popular Swedish Cider is purely a summer drink.
Attendees were able to sample a wide range of flavoured ciders.
The launch party gave guests the privilege to sample the six other Rekorderlig Cider flavours in their portfolio including; Apple, Pear, Strawberry-Lime, Wild Berries, Apple-Blackcurrant and Mango-Raspberry.
The theme of the event reflected a true Swedish Winter Forest with beautiful husky dogs, pine trees, wooden furniture, fallen snow and northern lights projected on the ceiling.
The Winter themed event included husky dogs, fallen snow and more.
The area will continue as a ‘pop up bar’ at the Belgian Beer Cafe for 10 days serving Rekorderlig Winter Cider and delicious Swedish meals to match.
The launch event was the perfect way to celebrate winter in Melbourne, Beautifully Swedish Winter Forest style.
