Tourism Western Australia’s The Extraordinary Taxi Ride competition has drawn thousands of entries from around the globe to secure a seat in the Extraordinary Taxi with an extraordinary taxi driver will depart Perth at a special farewell event on Friday (April 9)
Tourism WA will host an official farewell party for The Extraordinary Taxi Ride in Forrest Place on Friday April 9, with Extraordinary taxi driver, Doug Slater and the first two winners leaving Perth at 9am on the first leg of the epic journey.
The event is scheduled to kick off from 7.30am with live radio broadcasts from 6PR and NOVA. For the early risers there will also be a live cross with Sunrise 6am. Prominent Perth band Gyroscope will be doing a special performance from 8.30am.
