This teambuilding activity is the brainchild of local based company Cocoa Connections owned and operated by Jan Chubb. A background in clinical microbiology is not normally something you would associate with a chocolate obsessive, but Chubb’s involvement with clinical research molded perfectly with the study of the weird, delectable product that is chocolate.
The team activity gave guests a chance to try their hand at chocolate making.

“Workshops are well organised events and a fun teambuilding activity – the end product, a sophisticated and delicious gift” said Chubb. Workshops can take place in boardrooms, lunchrooms and other workplace presentation rooms with access to hand washing facilities.
Guests at the event also enjoyed wine sponsored by plus an array a chocolate inspired canapés created by chefs at Assured.
“Our member events are well supported, with the one we had to cap numbers” said director of membership and public relations at the Bureau, Tracey Cinavas-Prosser. “Our aim is to provide a fun but informative business to business opportunity which also promote our members services”.
Event sponsors were Assured Ascot Quay Apartment Hotel, Cocoa Connections, Voyager Estate and photography by The Scene Team.
