Almost Famous, a new teambuilding and event company, launched with an impromptu gospel choir at the Executive Assistant Network (EAN) Congress and Expo at Sydney’s Luna Park last week

After enlisting 12 executive assistants who were attending the conference throughout the day, the Almost Famous team formed a gospel choir that took the stage with a special performance at the expo’s gala dinner.

Almost famous assistants rock out ‘gospel style’ at
the recent EAN Congress.

“Almost Famous transformed our dinner and ensured it was one of the most entertaining evenings we have experienced,” said Executive Assistant Network director and congress organisers, Natasha Cannon. ” Even with only a small demonstration of the team building component backed up by entertainment from the band, the audience was kept transfixed,”

Almost Famous founding director and bass player for Mondo Rock, Paul Christie, enjoyed positive feedback from the 90 delegates. “The Expo was a great opportunity to showcase the power of an Almost Famous event to motivate, improve morale, break down unspoken barriers and unite a team,” he said.

Almost famous produces an array of interactive teambuilding events at which corporate groups become a full production and talent team by creating and performing their very own music spectaculars.

“It was great to try a new experience; it made me do something I never thought I would do,” said AAPT’s executive assistant Nerys Evans.
