The biggest Latin American and Spanish music and dance festival in Australia will once again return to Sydney’s Darling Harbour this October long-weekend (October 2-5) with Fiesta.
Offering plenty of free entertainment and presented by Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, the event will bring the passion of Rio with three stages showcasing dancing performances, Brazilian Carnivale girls, musicians, capoeria and more.
A wide variety of bands, DJ’s and performances will
again draw crowds to Sydney’s Darling Harbour
For the first time ever the program will feature two sensational international bands – double-Grammy award winners Aterciopelados from Colombia and exclusive, special guest performances by Venezuela’s finest salsa orchestra, Bailatino.
Attendees can take free dance lessons from experts and spend the rest of their time dancing the night away, listening to performances and DJ, dining on the range of Latin inspired food stalls or browsing the variety of arts and craft stalls. The event ends with a bang on Sunday as Cockle Bay Wharf fills with colour when fireworks wow crowds.
Dancers are set to again take the stage for Fiesta,
Sydney’s annual Latin dance and music festival
Fiesta, is just one of the many events that make up Crave Sydney, a celebration of Sydney’s distinctive lifestyle, offering 31 days of authentic food, entertainment and outdoor experiences.
