Guess Watches transforms Sydney rock-venue for a glam launch

The Metro, Sydney's leading independent rock venue underwent a makeover on Wednesday, 17 August that saw it transformed into a glamorous, sexy and seductive setting for Guess Watches


The Metro, Sydney’s leading independent rock venue underwent a makeover on Wednesday, 17 August that saw it transformed into a glamorous, sexy and seductive setting for one of the world’s largest fashion watch brands, Guess Watches, in celebration of their new Spring Summer season launch.


Sydney rock venue, The Metro was glammed up for Guess.

The event, organised by ID Australia dressed the venue with a ‘touch of glamour’ 400 guests celebrated in style. The champagne flowed, the food,  provided by European Catering, was fabulous and the music rocked with a surprise performance by Stan Walker singing Prince’s Purple Reign, Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together and his hit single Loud backed by the Phil Ceberano band.


The event included a surprise performance by Stan Walker.

“The energy our team had during this week long project was amazing,” said director of sales and operations for ID Australia, Karen Mathieson. 

“Operating not only a Conference, but various group experiences, fine dining and finale party for over 400 guests (including celebrities and media), I am extremely proud of the challenges overcome by the ID team, led by Claire Winn, our Operations Manager,” she added.

Guests included th elikes of DJ Minx, models Robyn Lawley and Jordan & Zac Stenmark, Nova 969’s Wippa and Ben Wood, Masterchef Hayden Quinn, Choreographer Nacho Pop, Musician Fantine, TV presenters Mike Goldman,  Channel [V]’s Danny Clayton and many more.
