Funktionality Event Management and Quay Restaurant last week (16 June) welcomed the cream of Sydney’s corporate elite to a night that money can’t buy in the Green Room at Quay Restaurant.
With a sparkling clear night highlighting the stunning Vivid Sydney light display dancing across the Opera House sails, it was the perfect back drop. Peter Gilmore didn’t disappoint with delightful canapés and top class beverages.
Sydney Harbour set the perfect backdrop for the event
The partnership between Quay Restaurant and Funktionality shone brightly as they came together to offer stunning decor, superb entertainment and exquisite food and beverage to over 150 corporate event managers. Funktionality filled the room with their new stylish silver brocade furniture, complimented by a retro black and white dance floor, magenta lighting, diamond curtains and delicate birdcages dripping with soft green foliage.
The dance floor did not go unused as the guests were treated to an incredible tap performance from “The Next Step”. Entering unannounced the boys stunned the audience into silence with an explosive acapella routine, only to break them from their trance with a high energy hip hop routine rousing the guests into cheers.
Quay Restaurant showcased its capabilities as a spectacular harbour view venue
To complete the entertainment for the evening, Joseph Smith spun some relaxed dance tunes accompanied by saxophone and bongos for a chilled out lounge vibe.
Quay is currently voted at No 27 in the coveted San Pellegrino World’s 50 best Restaurants list, as well as best restaurant in Australasia. Together with Funktionality this partnership can offer you an event to remember at one of the best locations in Sydney.
