Taxi alternative Uber has partnered with local animal shelters to deliver kittens to cuteness-starved city dwellers.
For a mere $4o for 15 minutes, Uber has been delivering kittens to people in Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Geelong, Melbourne and Perth.
In order to order the kittens, cat fanciers had to download the Uber app, request the ‘KITTENS’ option and, if the kittens were available, they would be delivered to the desired location.
Every dollar raised during the Uber Kittens campaign will be donated to Animal Welfare League Queensland, Lort Smith Adoption Centre, Cat Haven and the Cat Protection Society.
