More than 250 PCOs and buyers gathered at Customs House in Brisbane earlier this month for the Convene Q Welcome Reception.
Surrounded by picturesque views of the Brisbane River, guests mixed and mingled and enjoyed a selection of delectable canapes.
On the menu was: peppered duck breast with mushroom duxelles and rosemary jelly pastry cup; smoked salmon, fennel and onion marmalade on rye; Venison Pie with tomato jam; and baked whole brie with crostini.
Hot fork dishes specially prepared by Custom House’s Executive Chef, John Offenhauser included a grilled field mushroom risotto, truffle oil, Reggiano rocket pesto and a parmesan wafer, followed by a chocolate fondue with strawberries and marshmallows for dessert.
Later in the evening guests sat down to a dazzling sky show, put on by Jet Pack Adventures and Skylighter FireworX.
The night concluded with a spectacular fireworks display.
