Lovers of fine Italian food, film and Peroni turned out to Sydney’s Mezzaluna Ristorante Tuesday night for the exclusive launch of Cinema Peroni.
An intimate gathering on a cold and wet night, guests were warmly welcomed in the Potts Point restaurant’s bar with delicious aperitivo of arancini and bruschetta, accompanied by crisp and of course, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Prosecco.

Guests enjoyed a three course dinner of home made tortellini filled with pecorino mousse served with broad beans and crispy pork cheek, followed by veal involtino filled with rocket and double smoked ham and finished with a rich semifreddo with nutella sauce was enjoyed, with the backdrop of the spectacular city skyline.
The event, sponsored by Peroni, included a three course dinner and Italian film.
The film for the evening was Ages of Love starring Robert De Niro in an Italian speaking role. Revellers enjoyed the laughs in this quirky look-at-love in three different ages of life – youth, adulthood and beyond, while relaxing in the cosy restaurant and enjoying the free flowing Peroni.

Cinema Peroni will continue weekly on Tuesday nights at Mezzaluna Ristorante in Potts Point. Aperitivo and refreshments commence at 6PM, with the film and dinner to be served from 7PM.
