Bulgari launched its new fragrance for men, Aqva Amara, at Ayana Resort and Spa late last week.
The new Italian perfume has Indonesian ingredients
Bulgari’s media launch kicked off with sunset cocktails at Ayana’s Rock Bar, followed by a seafood barbecue at Kisik seafood restaurant. The next day, guests enjoyed signature ‘Sand, Sea and Shell’ spa treatments at Ayana’s Thermes Marins Bali Spa to reflect the event’s water theme.

Created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier, Aqva Amara means ‘bitter water’ in Italian, Aqva Amara contains notes of Sicilian mandarin, neroli flower, Indonesian patchouli and white incense olibanum.
Named after a ‘place of refuge’ in Sanskrit, Ayana Resort and Spa is perched atop the cliffs above Jimbaran Bay 12km south of Bali’s Denpasar airport.
