Cointreau’s global brand ambassador, Dita Von Teese dazzled guests including Sophie Lowe, Bianca Spender, Leona Edmiston and Krew Boylan at a VIP event at Sydney’s Australian Technology Park last Thursday (16 Sept).
The ‘queen of burlesque’ performed her Be Cointreauversial show, which pays homage to one of her most famous burlesque routines and sees her perform in a giant Cointreau glass.

The event also saw the launch of the ‘Cointreau Teese’ a specially designed cocktail created by Dita herself and made from Cointreau, apple juice, Monin violet syrup with frosted ginger around the glass rim.
Merivale Group mixologist Mikey Enright created the drinks menu comprising his own twist on Cointreau classic cocktails including The Elegant Arrival, Bitter Sweet Symphony, Quatro Sec, Washington’s Sidecar and Long Straw, with each of the drinks emulating the Cointreau brand values – charisma, sophistication and style.

Australian Technology Park was transformed by event specialist’s dg3 with a 12 metre long chandelier made entirely of Cointreau bottles draped with gorgeous models and a giant catwalk bar.
Styling by The Squared Division, catering by celebrity caterers John+Peter and entertainment from DJ’s Little Bambalan and Martini Club, kept revellers well fed and entertained into the night.
Sydney is the tenth city in which she has performed the show which she specifically created for Cointreau – after acclaimed performances in London, New York, Paris, Sao Paolo, New Orleans, Miami, Seattle and Denver and Tokyo. Dita Von Teese has been the Global Brand Ambassador for Cointreau since 2007.
