The Union Hotel and Uncorked restaurant in North Sydney hosted a Bastille Day affair on Saturday, 14th July to celebrate their 4th Birthday with French fare, Parisian Jazz and Can Can dancers.
Comprising of over 250 locals and friends, the Union Hotel was set in a chic French Brasserie theme that reflected the venue’s love for all things French.
The Bastille Day event saw French insired food, entertainment and music come together for over 250 locals.
Guests sipped on champagne and indulged in a selection of exquisite French Fare from the Bistro, with Bastille Day specials consisting of: a delectable Gruyere and Goats Cheese Soufflé for entrée, Chateau Briand for 2 people to share a whole Eye Fillet with Pommes Gratin & Sauce Béarnaise for a main and a Chocolate Gateaux for dessert inspired by the Marie Antoinette’s very words of – let them eat cake! Bon Appetite!
Uncorked, the elegant fine dining restaurant located on the first floor, treated guests to a decadent Parisian five course degustation menu with matching wines, presented by dynamic duo, Group Executive Chef, Ronny Ghantous and Head Chef, David Little. The exciting Bastille Day menu included: Alaskan Crab, Confit Ocean Trout, Sugar Cured Spring Lamb Shoulder, Passionfruit Soufflé and a selection of French and local cheese selection.
French jazz band Cést Si Bon, entertained guest.

The theme of the event reflected a true Bastille Day with a Parisian Jazz Band that entertained guests with the delightful sounds of French classics, a show-stopping performance by Can Can dancers and a visits to the Eiffel Tower where guests were lining up to have their photos taken with loved ones and friends for fun and iconic take home souvenir snaps.
