Fun idea: Meet the hottest new couple at Sea Life Sydney

Spice News got an exclusive meet and greet with the aquarium's first same-sex penguin couple.

Team-building activities are covered at Sea Life Sydney

For a team-building activity that rivals the rest, take your team down to Sea Life Sydney for an exclusive meet and greet with the aquarium’s first same-sex penguin couple, Sphen and Magic.

The staff at Sea Life Sydney noticed Sphen and Magic, or Sphengic as they’re collectively called, were developing a strong bond before breeding season.

The couple were given a dummy egg to allow them to practice incubating and to develop their skills. Sphengic were absolute naturals, so the team at Sea Life Sydney fostered a real egg to them from another couple who had two.

Not long after, the couple welcomed their fostered baby chick into the world!

Spice gets up close with the penguins!

The team at Spice News recently met the new parents and Baby Sphengic with Sea Life Sydney’s Penguin Passport.

Suited up in snow gear, the team stepped onto the ice to watch the sub-Antarctic penguin colony waddle, hop and slide along the ice.

The exclusive 75-minute tour included a behind-the-scenes tour of the penguin food preparation and an educational talk about how the state-of-the-art exhibit maintains its chilly temperatures.

Not only does Sea Life Sydney offer fun and engaging team-building activities, the venue is also the perfect location to host every type of event from corporate networking cocktails to Christmas parties, award nights and product launches.
