What do you get when you mix theatre, cocktails and a touch of ’80s nostalgia?
You get The Lock In, a new immersive cocktail experience located in Sydney’s Surry Hills.
The Lock In is the first of a series of pop-up bar experiences from events company Curious Cartel, and has been created in partnership with Captain Morgan.
But this is more than just a bar. Entering the venue, guests are transported to small town Indiana in the year 1988, where strange things are happening and locals are disappearing.
Guests will be tasked with investigating and solving the fictional mystery through a series of problem-solving activities and interactive games, while enjoying premium cocktails.
Located above The Wanderer on Elizabeth Street, The Lock In is open for a limited time on Thursdays through to Sundays.
The experience can be booked for groups of up to 18 people per session and makes for an out-the-box Christmas party for corporate teams.
