Following its success last year, the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) is launching another round of its virtual and hybrid events online course.
Originally designed as a training course for senior event managers in Indonesia, the program has now been adapted to the Australian market, to teach highly sought-after skills to event professionals all over the country.
Billie Cox, business development manager at AMI, said the course is suitable for event managers of all levels.
“It’s a competitive job market out there – a lot of people have been stood down and let go,” she said.
“So by having this credential to be able to say ‘I’ve been trained in this and I know what I’m talking about’ is going to give people a competitive advantage when those few jobs do come up in the event industry.”
An experienced line-up of event experts will deliver the eight-week online course, helping event professionals to hone the skills, knowledge and technical expertise needed to run memorable hybrid events.
Among the key learnings are
- How 2020 changed the event industry and what to expect moving forward
- How to create a successful digital and hybrid event strategy
- Virtual event operations, branding and marketing
- Tools: presentation of digital event software, augmented & virtual reality
- How to sell virtual events
