Following the recent launch of V Australia between Australia and the US, Los Angeles hotels continue to target Aussie travellers as more seats become available on the trans-Pacific route.
“With V Australia coming online, there are very exciting times for the hotel industry generally,” Ramada Plaza West Hollywood managing director, Alan Johnson, told SpiceNews during a recent trip to Melbourne.
“We are very involved in the packaging of groups with all of the (trans-Pacific) airlines and it is a true consumer market at the moment,” he said.
Johnson said the hotel was experiencing a record number of enquiries for group bookings at present.
“We are getting a lot of enquiries… we haven’t had as many enquiries for group travel in the last ten years as much as we are getting now,” he said.
