EXCLUSIVE BY JAMES WILKINSON IN BERLIN
North American attractions company Citypass is experiencing strong international growth at present, with 60% of New York City ticket sales alone coming from international markets, including Australia.
Speaking exclusively to SpiceNews on camera at ITB in Berlin last week (Mar 10), Citypass CEO, Mike Gallagher said the leisure market remained strong for his company – which sells discount attractions passes in New York City, Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Hollywood, Houston, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, Southern California and Toronto – particularly over the last few years.
He said he was particularly excited about the Australian market – particularly incentives – going forward in New York, Hollywood and San Francisco.
At ITB, Gallagher was also recognised by the Pacific Area Travel Writers Association International (PATWA) with a Hall of Fame Lifetime Contribution in Tourism Award.
