Decorative Events & Exhibitions has presented a unique stand at AIME 2010 with a series of recycled materials including plants, 130 year-old reconditioned Australian hardwood floorboards, driftwood and a chandelier made from mineral water bottles.
According to Decorative Events & Exhibitions managing director, Mark Magennis, the stand was conceptualised by the company’s creative director Peter Fulton and design manager Maria Bruvelis.
The stand has been completely carbon offet with every aspect of the stand’s production, flights, travel and transport being neutralised.
Magennis expects that once the Global Financial Crisis is over, more event planners will shift back to green events which are sustantiable and environmentally friendly that also take advantage of creative concepts and innovative elements and textures.
