The Calyx in the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney has unveiled its incredible new horticulture display, featuring 20,000 plants including a 50-metre living wall, providing events with the ultimate springtime backdrop. 

Love Your Nature is all about showcasing and celebrating the fascinating stories of plant-love. Since the dawn of time, plants have been using a variety of remarkable ways to reproduce and many are on display; from stunning sex-changing cycads, and ostentatious orchids that trick their pollinators.

The stunning display provides conferences and events with an inspiring nature-filled experience amongst an array of plants and flowers within the flexible space.

“The Calyx is a unique event space in the heart of Sydney’s CBD and provides endless creative solutions for event planners to create memorable and distinctive events for their guests,” Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust chief executive Denise Ora said.

The incredible Love Your Nature display, with vibrant colours, textures and scents, provides more than just a stunning backdrop – it gives guests an immersive botanical experience.”

To accompany the blooming display, The Calyx’ culinary partner, Laissez-faire Catering, has launched new flavours for the spring events menu which includes 90 percent of the produce being sourced from farms in the Orange and Mudgee region.

Featuring a contemporary architectural design with glass ceiling, The Calyx offers versatile indoor and outdoor event space options and can accommodate up to 400 guests.
