The Ritz-Carlton, Perth has won the Conference and Functions Award at the 2021 AHA-Aon Hospitality Awards for Excellence.
The prestigious hospitality awards, which took place at Crown Towers Perth on Monday night, acknowledge and celebrate the achievements of the hospitality industry in Western Australia.
For the second year running, the gala event was the largest gathering of hospitality professionals anywhere in Australia.
This year’s award categories included WA’s Best Regional Hospitality Venue won by Treendale Farm Hotel, Group Venue Operator Award won ARK Group, and Perth’s Best Hospitality Venue won by The Royal Hotel Perth.
The Ritz-Carlton, Perth general manager Dario Orsini said the team was proud of their achievement which recognised the work they put into bringing customised events to life and making every experience memorable for guests.
“Over the last 12 months we have seen a noticeable shift with what’s top of mind for event organisers,” Orsini said.
“We have seen a rise in requests for more intimate conferences and functions, valuing flexibility when planning events and shorter lead times. The request for hybrid events has also increased with each city holding their event locally and then virtually coming together.”
Bringing together architectural design and local influence, The Ritz-Carlton, Perth offers 2,000 square metres of versatile events, conferencing and meetings spaces, with sweeping views across the city and Swan River.
Eight dynamic, light-filled meeting spaces can be tailored for any occasion, whether it be a stand-up cocktail function, business meeting or a formal sit-down event, while the property’s celebrated culinary team tailors food and beverage packages which showcase fine local ingredients.
For a unique foodie experience guests can have a Chef cook in the open show kitchen of The Bell Tower room. This interactive style of event allows guests to watch and engage with the Chefs as they use old world cooking techniques and plate up the state’s finest produce.
