Langham Hospitality Group has announced The Langham, Gold Coast and Jewel Residences, managed by Langham, will open 23 June 2022.
The highly awaited new luxury property will be housed within the central and tallest of the three Jewel towers, located between Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. It will be the first development with direct beachfront access to be built on the Gold Coast in more than 30 years.
The 339-room hotel will offer 17 different types of rooms and suites, all with ocean and Hinterland views and the superior luxury comfort that The Langham brand is globally renowned for.
The five-star experience extends all throughout the hotel, which boasts a range of food and beverage venues including Palm Court, which is home to the world’s first afternoon tea in a Grand Hotel and will host the famous Langham Afternoon Tea. It will also introduce T’ang Court – sister venue to the world-famous Michelin-starred restaurants, and Coral Moon, an open-air destination bar.
Meanwhile, The Langham’s signature Chuan Spa will offer guests the perfect place to relax and get pampered, with a range of massages and treatments that embrace the ancient wellness philosophies of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
General Manager of The Langham, Gold Coast general manager John O’Shea said the hotel was excited to welcome its first guests after months of planning and much global and local anticipation for the group’s first beachfront resort experience.
“Since first opening in London in 1865, The Langham has built an unmatched, global reputation for timeless elegance and a true 5-star experience and we are beyond thrilled to soon bring this legendary legacy to life in the heart of the Gold Coast with local Australian characteristics,” O’Shea said.
“The Langham, Gold Coast will bring together Langham’s global expertise in luxury hospitality and gastronomic dining with an iconic Gold Coast oceanfront location to provide a unique, one-of-a-kind hotel and dining and events experience.”
The Langham, Gold Coast is the third addition to the Langham Hospitality Group’s Australian portfolio, joining hotels in Sydney and Melbourne.
