The Australian Event Awards have kicked off, acknowledging the achievements of entrants, finalists and winners in a month-long celebration.

After extensive consultation with the industry, the Event Awards 2021 Ceremony will be held online, dedicating the month of October to recognise the resilience and achievements of the industry since 1 July 2020.

Entrant highlights have already begun taking place on the Awards’ facebook page where they will continue to be featured until 19 October, followed directly by the 2021 finalist and winner announcements between 20 to 31 October.

The announcements will be delivered as series of short broadcasts each evening over 12 days, from 20 to 31 October, which will be uploaded to the Awards’ YouTube channel.

The first night will commence at 6pm and will include three category announcements; Best Live of Hybrid Corporate Event, Best Online Event Delivery Platform, and Best Virtual Small Event. The remainder of the month will see two categories announced per night.
